Im going to the track to race a stock 00 C5 and 98 Ls1 Z28...what do you think my chances are with my 74 duster? This is my setup
360 40 over
xe274 cam with .523 lift with 1.6 rockers
magnum heads with 2.02 valves
crosswind intake
Kb107 pistons 10.7 compression
32 total timing with 18 initial
4.10 gears suregrip with 3600 stall Bte Converter 904 trans
reverse pattern VB
Bigs 750 DP holley carb
and Might throw the Under drive crank pulley back on

You should win, or at best be in the 12s, stock LS1 F bodies with a good driver will pull off 13.2s, me being into the F bodies, i will say, this guy may have some hidden surprizes, like a lid/gears, possibly some nitrous, then forget about it, he will spank you if on the bottle, how "stock" is this car, do you really know? I ran 13.3s in my 97 Z28 (LT1 6sp.), all it had was bolt-ons & a 9" with 159000 miles, on a 100 NX shot, it ran 12.01 @ 115 :-D, so be prepaired, but if he is "truely" stock, you should take him (with traction of coarse).
 
his 98 has a ls1 and they are said to put out only 305hp and run high to mid 13s
 
so we went to the track because I know the guy who works at the track and he let us race even though he wasnt suppose to. And Some how it was tied, but the car was even and it seemed like the car dident want to go above 4-5k???? and I have alot of oil in the breather filter, so Major BLOW BY? or what caused me not to have the full power I should have had?

Sounds like blow-by, do a compression check, what do the plugs look like?

So, what did you guys run ET wize??
 
the range was from 180-210 without oil in the holes..its still a new motor like 1-200 miles
