What does this go to?

This is one of many things we found at my grandmothers house after she passed. It seems like some kind of mirror for a automobile or trolley or something. I'm curuios if anyone can give me any more info about it. Like for one how old is it? This thing is rather heavy. the mirror seems on par with anything made now a days which makes me think it might not that old. Dunno.
