what does the white plug on wiper motor with 2 spade plug ins do? thanks and can i eliminate it to hook up my pertronix 2 with flame thrower? thanks

Its a resister for the wiper motor. It doesnt have anything to do with your ignition. Why would you need to disconnect it ?

i am going to use a pertronix 2 ignitor with flame thrower and they said to run direct and not use ballast resistor, just trying to figure out how to do it. if you have any idea please help. thanks

forget about the wiper motor. imagine taking it and its ballast resistor off the car. you need to focus on the OTHER ballast resistor. if your car does not have that one, then you need to trace wiring to figure your original problem of power to the coil and then the pertronix upgrade.

i have found my power wire to coil, but still cannot try to start my fresh rebuild, they gave me wrong fuel pump, back to ballast resistor, i have a 4 spade ballast resistor by voltage regulator, do you which side i tie together or eliminate to bypass ballast resistor, or at least keep from losing so much power so my pertronix will run at full power all other problems are solved? thanks

The brown wire from the coil side needs to tie into the blue that feed the ballast. When you do this you will have power in the crank and run position which is what you need. Shoot me an email at [email protected] with the info on your car and I will send you a diagram for it. It may help you in your quest.
