We run 904 foot brake 5,000 stall 4.30 gear 3250 lbs. 10.44 1/4 mile so you should be in the ballpark of low 11 depending on your chassey set up.

What's this thing weigh? Any idea how much HP you're making? Sounds like you should be in the 10s without too much effort. I figured I needed approx. 425 HP in a 2,900lb car to go mid 11's. Calculations were derived from the Auto Math Handbook formulas for ET.

Got any pics, would like to see it!

car weight is 3520 lbs

time sheet and dyno run hp at the tyres

Looks very good at the tires. Have you tried a little larger carb? Did you say you are running a 750? Most strokers and with those good heads may get a little more power above 5k with a little larger carb, maybe an 850 and jet as needed.

looks great though! Good job!

Given the standard 20% driveline loss, (433hp at the wheels according to the chassis dyno pic) your engine is making over 500hp. Your ET bears that out.

Nice job, looks like you've got a quick car there.

that was old engine dave .10.1 c0mp, j heads ,m1 ,150 gas ,have not raced new engine yet hopeing for same numbers with no gas

Got ya.. sorry I missed that. I really like those numbers on those heads.

Man it most be in the 600hp range would you not think so? I think high tens are very easy even at that weight.Would be nice if you could shed say 200 lbs. I would think that may get you another 1-2 tenths too.

yes mate diet would be good for car and driver ,that was steet weight and driver ,pipes on ,tow bar,6point steel cage, truck battery,250 lbs driver , and yes i tow trailers with her.

With heads that flow like that, 10's should be easy...assuming you can hook with that short tire.

yes easy tens i hope hp should be up at 580 to 600 range.

finely ran her today with 255/60/15 street radial ,mufflers 1.83 @60 ft ,7.69@95 mph ,still need more sorting i think theres a good 1/2 seconds missing any ideas boys.

yes i try that i have 26/10 mt i may be racing in 7 days ,i took pipes, air cleaner off an ran slower.

your combo flys mate ,can you tell me more about it thanks ian.

That combination should be well into the tens, your 60's and 1/8 mile times are terrible too...

i know its of the pace thats why i am seeking input it stalls to 3500 i need 4800 that will help and 4.1 gears also and may be more carb it seems to like it.

if yah look close, you'll see a 1.57 60ft, and a 1/8 mile time of 6.361 @ 107.829mph.
alot more gear (4.56s prolly) and more stall (5000) would get me down the first 1/2
alot faster. but i do want to keep my junk streetable, so I had to compromise for now.
as far as carb sizes go, ur prolly better of with a Holley HP 950 or simular. be prepared
to tune alot.
