what is the best alternator and voltage regulator replacement brand

What is the best alternator and voltage regulator replacement brand? I have a 1968 Dart GTS with the late model VR style.

I like the stock Mopar parts myself, unless you need some extra output for some reason. Then you might need wiring and/or relay work too.

I recently got a powermaster 95 amp squareback. Good so far.

If you have a big load, you can melt down existing stock wiring with that output. Particularly the bulkhead connector and ammeter area.

hey Steve i bought a four pack on ebay i think it worked out to 16 bucks a piece this was a few years ago great reg rock steady voltage i set mine to 13.8 v

there is a small screw on the back of the vr to adjust one way for more voltage the other way for less . i use a multi meter on the battery to adjust .
