What is the finish on blower motor ring

does anyone know the factory color on an early a body non ac blower motor reinforcement ring from the factory? Mine was semi gloss black BUT the car was repainted.
I figure body color or black.

Originally the motor was gloss black and also the trim ring. The four nuts were dark phosphate.
