What is your other car? Your Daily Driver? Your Work Car? Your Wife's car?

Tell us about it

i drive a 99 toyota tacoma and my wife drives a 92 buick skylark. I know I know but the tacoma is hard to beat and the skylark is a damn nice little car i bought cause it was a four door and we needed a four door for the new baby. Anyway i only have 350 in the skylark hard to beat that. Justin

My daily driver is an 05 dodge ram 1500. I figure i mine as well get used to crappy gas millage before my duster is finished 8)

GMC Safari van for the wife and a company 1ton chevy cube van/service truck for myself (always smells like grease and diesel fuel, not that much fun to drive.....but someone else pays to run it,so its not all bad!)

An uglier than sin metallic pepto colored 94 escort Wagon LX that I bought from my neighbor for $200.00 because he bought a new Dodge Magnum(lucky bastard). I couldn't pass it up, it has 156,000 on it but it runs great, It has a 4 cylinder automatic with cruise and "working" AC. I've definitely got my $200.00 out of it and could probably still get 600.00 for it if I sold it.

I had to click the foreign crap '80 Toyota 4X pickup is my daily driver. It gets me to work and takes me fishing and hunting. The rest are MOPAR.

67 Dart GT convertible
bought in 93 as a driver slant 6 auto, was apart about 10 years to get it to lok like this, had a small picture in Hot Rod I think in 06 and 2/3 page in Popular Hot Rodding last July.

74 Coupe deVille
was a friends car and in 95 I brought it home to clean up and he told me to KEEP IT, so I have had it ever since. It has 29,000 miles and is in very good original condition,

81 Imperial
Mom got this car new in Oct. 80 as her company car. She had a TC3 and drove the Imperial only on nice days. dad thinks it was driven in the rain 4 times, never in the snow and has 14,500 miles on it now. As you can see in the picture in 95 when I took it to Mopar Nats it has had 700 miles since then. It was in Mopar Enthusist magazine. It was converted in 88 to replace the Fuel injection with a factory retro kit. About 11,000 of these were built in the 3 model years it was built. 81 was the only year for the optional power moon roof

81 Imperial
Bought for parts for the good 81 just in case someone runs into it on the rare occasion that I drive it. It was being parted to build a street rod and then the guy figured out how rare a car it is

82 Imperial
Twin to the good 81 except the moon roof. Still has the complete fuel injection 31,000 miles and best I can figure has not run since 95. Bought it really to get the snow flake wheels to put new tires on to us on the good car since the tires on it are from 1980

85 Ford Bronco
Bought it to use as daily driver and plow snow with. Was my driver for 5 years until I got the Dodge. The picture is an older one wish it was still in the shape in the picture. The mechanicals have most all been rebuilt, the body is shot. Broke the right front spring last spring and is still down. I have not taken the time to repair it.

86 Honda Goldwing
My Summer wheels, love riding it

95 Dodge 2500 cummins diesel 4x4 my driver
I bought this from friend 5 years ago, I drove it from the time it was new and he only drove it in the winter, he actually let me use it to pull my trailer before selling me the truck. It has 105,000 miles is top of the line truck with many dealer installed add ons. Drives great, gets decent fuel mileage and can tow my trailer where ever at the speed of my choice.

99 Plymouth Prowler
This car was a life changing experience. I had to get into my retirement savings and refinance the house to buy it, but I think it was all worth it. I have friends from all over the world due to this car. The custom paint was to make it different from all the other Yellow cars. I chromed the wheels, grill and door handles, polished the aluminum and the graphics were added in Jan. 99. The car has about 30,000 miles on it. I have the matching trailer for the car also painted to match. In 2001 Playing Mantis (JOHNNY LIGHTNING) made it into a diecast.

04 Ford Freestar
This is the wifes vehicle. She had a Dream Cruiser but with her medical problems she needed something that would suit her needs better. The van hauls her power scooter and has 6 way power seats & heat on both sides. For a van this thing will run 4.2 V6 and freely spins the tires if you have to take off quickly, hang on it the traffic is heavy, lots of torque steer.

My wife drives a Mercedes C180 2005 and I drives a 2002 Dodge Dakota dual cab w/canopy. Doesn't get a good fueleconomy out of it but I enjoy it! The gas here in Sweden is USD 7,41 per gallon!!!! Crazy but's that's how we're getting taxed to death!

These are the only cars I own

I drive a company van 9-5. Before that job I drove the Cuda, Dart, and sometimes Fury 80 miles roundtrip to work through three different Los Angeles freeways.

I want WILDCAT's Dodge truck!!!!!!!
That is a nice rig.

My driver is a 96 Ford Ranger. 130-k miles.
It has been insanely reliable, and I've owned it since 1999.

It's a 4 cly, 5 speed manual, and I like it because it is small and I can squeeze through the tightest driveways as I do house calls.

It does not have alot of power, but it runs like a Timex, and I always get compliments that it looks brand new, but just like any of my vehicles, I like to keep it that way.

I really would like a Dakota just because of the Mopar aspect, but to be perfectly honest, I can't see getting rid of something that is just so darn reliable...you with me?

The only thing that I don't like is that it is so small and it is the style side bed which limits space, but I'll just have to live with what I got because it works for me.

I also have a 00 chevy Astro which has gone through one transmission at 150-k miles, two alternators, a radiator, and just recently a thermostat.
Other than that, it's pretty reliable and serves as taxi cab.

Besides my '62 Valiant V8:

1922 Dodge Bros. touring car
1977 Dodge B200 Sportsman Royal SE camper van, E58 motor
1978 Dodge D300 Adventurer SE dually, 8.2:1 440
1992 Dodge Dynasty 3.3 (main driver - 160K miles - excellent vehicle!)
1962 Porsche 356B coupe

1999 Mazda B2500 P/U - My daily driver. The uglier, younger sister to Cudaspaz' Ranger from his description. Might be the most dependable piece of junk I've ever owned. I put 100 miles a day on it going back & forth to work if I'm in town and not traveling.

2004 Ram Hemi Quad Cab - her daily driver. My tow vehicle - but I have to ask to use it...go figure...

1998 Ram 1500 SS/T - purchased new - <65K miles on it. LOVE that truck!
1970 Duster 340 - E5 4 speed - the one that started it all for me. One of the handful of Windsor-built Duster 340 cars.
1970 Duster 340 - B5 727 w/air. Disassembled. Someday I'll get to it...
1970 Dart Swinger - wifey's car. F4 w/390 stroker.
1970 Duster - F4 /6 & 904. Mostly original paint. Aluminum headed 340 sitting on the engine stand waiting for me to get off of my dead a$$...
1974 Duster - Y6 w/51K miles. Added a 340/904/8.75 to give the old girl a new lease on life...
1978 Camaro Z-28 - Caged & Tubbed Pro-Streeter. Wildly entertaining!
1967 Chevelle Malibu - Someone else's unfinished project that I bought for $.30 on the dollar. Hopefully it will help finance that '69 Road Runner project I have planned when finished and sold...
