I want to buy a forward pattern manual valve body for my 904 but im curious as to what you guys are running and any problems youve had with them

I use revese valve bodies....but you will find that most of the big name companies ...that the valve bodies are not going to be much different...

the only down side to the forward pattern is the price...they seem to be about 100 bucks more then the reverse ones...at least the turbo action ones are.

looks like CRT is 275.00 for forward...and 255 for reverse.

mght want to check A&A trans also

shop around....look for a bargain...LOL

what part number is it?

PRND21
Stock Pattern, Manual/Automatic
Part # 17676

If it is that one...you must keep your kick down linkage as it is not full manual....just a note

T/A 17875 or 17880 (no low band apply)

Full manual forward pattern. I think that's the right one. The old one was a 17675 or 17680.

There are many manual valve bodies now applying the low band for roller clutch protection which used to be available only on trans brake models. Perhaps consider that feature as well.
Don,t know how well they shift though.

The one you linked to is RP. I thought you wanted FP.

I have a tranzact of indy rmvb in my 904 and i love it. You can get it with or with out the low band apply. I opted for the lba and the price was very easy on the wallet.
