What OBD1 horsepower mods?

Hey fellas just trying to get an idea of what I can do with my 5.9 before I drop it into my Duster. Hughes claims to have a cam that will operate in it. Lift in the low .500. Wondering, will the computer support a little more compression? How about some head work? I've also switching out the intake will help. Will the computer function with headers? Let me hear how you have modified your OBD1's?

depends on how much you want to spend. hughes offers a bigger throttle body, intake , injectors, cams, etc. I would contact http://bgperformance.com/. they can program your obd1 ecm and might also be able to tell you what the stock ecm can handle. theres a lot of guys on the Dakota/ram forums that have made engine modifications with the stock ecm.
