    I'm pretty sure the "F" bodies had the wider perch spacing, and the large spring center hole. Like the rear I have. But I could be wrong. I could measure a "F" body but not today.

    The one I have with the necked down axle tubes, is also 60-60 1/2

    The 8 1/4" covers for '75 and older, and '76 to '96 look the same to me. Are they different anywhere inside?

    Didn’t Hoppy make a whole thread out of 8.25. I believe the carrier bearings are bigger 76 up. Kim
