I backed my Formula S out of the garage this morning to do some clean up in the garage. I left the car running for maybe 10 minutes and noticed it wasn't running. I tried to start it back and all I get is a click. The battery shows a full charge and all of the lights are working.
What should I check?
Thanks

Check your battery terminals. Then check them again. Then clean them just to be sure.

Check the Big red hot wire going to the starter, make sure it's not loose or damaged.

Check your motor ground. (this would also make the engine stop running if it came loose.)

If all that's good, and it doesn't work, there should be two wires going to the starter, one small, one big. With the battery hooked up bridge these two with a screwdriver. PREPARE FOR SPARKS and the motor turning over, and don't kill yourself. You're hotwiring the starter. be careful not to bridge from the big wire to ground, not if you value your screwdriver. (or eyesight for that matter.)

If all you're getting is a click at this point, check to see the starter is bolted up tight, and if it is, your starter probably took a dump.

Thanks for the advise. It has started to rain so I'll check it out in the morning

I had already cleaned and tightened the battery cables. I just don't understand why it just cut off while running for about 10 minutes

I found the problem. There are 2 wires off the positove post to the battery. The smaller wire had been spliced. I opened the splice, cut it and put it back together. She started up. Thanks for your help and advise.
