what should i expect to pay

for a custom made set of headers? plans are for a 572 hemi into my dart with the factory front end. i contacted Stans Headers and he said in the $3500 range. Seems a bit high to me, but I have never had a set built before.....

WoW!I thought I was paying alot for ceramic coated fenderwell headers for my 66 Dart,but $3500?For that kinda money,I would buy a welder and tube bender and make my own.That,s just me.Good luck,I would search around more.

These guys build really good headers. They built the headers for my dads superstocker and my uncles stocker. $2600 for stainless steel 3 step headers with his signature collecters. http://www.perfweldheaders.com/index.html

That does seem pricey, I'd try to contact TTI and see what they have to offer. I know they have very nice fits for factory car/engine combos, but it might be a gamble with a conversion like that. Sounds like a cool plan though.

tti does not make them, unless you put an aftermarket tubular front end in the car. only hooker and hedman.

Why not make your own with a box of mandrel bends and a mig welder?
