hey guys,

Im going to be running a flywheel from 440source on my 340 and i need to know if the mopar flywheel bolts are 5/16 fine thread or not...i called the dealer and he said that there is no description on thread size and there are no returns on ordered items, so i dont want them to be the wrong ones....i also need 7/8 coarse thread bolts for the pressure plate, but do i really need shouldered bolts? if you guys arent using the special bolts, what are you using? I figure i will need the special shouldered bolts for the flywheel, but for the pressure plate i may be able to get away with regular bolts...any advice on this?

thanks
matthew

hi flywheel to crank is 7/16 fine threaded, pp to flywheel is 3/8 course. should use a shoulder bolt on pp to flywheel it holds the clutch centered .
my bolts in my 340 are all shouldered, i got mine from mr gasket. arp has them also. this is not the placeto skimp on quality bolts.
