I have a 1965 2dr post dart, 273 auto with factory air. it needs a complete interior 4 wheel brakes and front suspension rebuild. The car is from california and is rust free. A guy wants to trade even for a 1964 Barracuda, 318 4speed. the car needs to be put back together and there is rust issues with the rear quarters rear wheel openings floor work. Frame seems to be solid. has new clutch new exhaust new dist and coil and rally wheels.
would you trade. I know there is a lot of variables that i have not covered.

I would keep the Dart. A rust free car of that age is very hard to find these days. No hidden surprises to deal with.

Which car do you like better and would be happy putting your money in?

The other guy has a good reason for wanting to trade...your car is the better one. Say 'no, thanks.'

Hi Mike, keep the Dart! You,ve seen cars up here of that vintage, that have had previous work years ago. They,re now on their 2nd or 3rd go-round with bodywork. As said,we know why he wants to trade.LOL.

P.S I,ve had a guy already wanting to trade his 69 Dart(340)for the 68 Barracuda I just bought. It,s hard to find a clean body round here.
