block code on front of drivers side of block is W4360P39674 looking to find out what year it is.

look on the right side of your block behind the motor mount should be casted there.

Big casting with the date of build is on the side of the block. No need to try to identify the serial #. The other side will have the block casting with the size. Here's a couple pics

I think you have a 76 360.........

Or maybe an 82.......

I almost bet it is between 70 and 2002! So we got that covered......
