I installed and 8 3/4 in my dart from a 67 coronet. I got a 7260 to 7290 conversion ujoint precision #347. Well it does fit in the yoke on the third member. What gives
What yoke do I have?

You need to be more specific. And the pics you posted don't help much. Cant really tell the exact sizes with a tape measure and the straps on. What about it is wrong that it doesn't fit? Here's a yoke I.D. chart I made up in PDF form that may help
