I am going to a swap meet down in Plano, IL this weekend. I am hoping to get rid of some of my excess parts and reclaim back some of my garage. I have a 360 I was saving for a truck project but that maybe a ways off now and 360's are very plentiful in trucks anyways. I would really hate to get rid of this motor but the space and the money (to spend on my rear suspension and rear end swap) would be more beneifitial right now.

Here is what the 360 has:

71 or 72 block can't remeber off the top of my head.
Its virgin never been machined yet,
Has about 75,000 miles when I had it apart last you could still see cross hatching.
Has J heads probably could use reconditioning but work just fine the way it sits.

New stuff that I put on about 2,000 miles ago:

Airgap intake
MP cam 260/268 .430/.450
water pump
oil pump
fuel pump
Double roller timing chain
Fel pro gaskets
MP black valve covers / K&N breather

Extra parts:

I have a 904 convertor and a truck (727???) convertor & flex plate for it for it.
I also have a deep sump and center sump oil pans for it.
I can even through in a 904 tranny no extra charge.

The motor is ready to run as is and its a very strong runner. The seller in me would like to get a $1,000 for it because of the condition and the all the new parts in it and the sentimental price for all the fun I had with it. The buyier in me says this is crazy amount of money. So I need some suggestions!!!!

I always say ask for the universe and settle for the world :D You might get what you ask for, if not people are always in the barganing mood when they go to a swap meet.

Im getting mine for 200. its a 78 and lovked up from sittin over time. of corse the guy is a good friend.
