What's teh scoop with Spacers for rims???

I was wondering about wheel spacers? being i really am interested in teh mutang bullitt wheels..but worried if they will fit properly..thinkin' wheel spacers may fix that???

The tires are 235/45/17s that are a nice fit for the 8" rims. They do just touch the sides on the upper control arms at full extension when fully turned, but when will these happen while driving? I tried them with a 1" spacer what was to close to the fender and they still they still touched the arms so it's back to the 1/2" ones. Now it's on to the back wheels. ;D

wouldn't the 1" spacer put it further away from the cra??if so, y would 1/2" not rub and 1" rub?

and thanks a lot BTW..bc that's the exact set-up i'm curious about..i don't think the back will be a prob..bein i have a b-body rear which is about an inch long on each side anyways :)
 
can't find the link to that thread??? you got the link...or the pictures???
