I just got done putting a disc brake set up from a 73 dart on my 71 used to be drum brake car. Is there any difference in the m/c, or do I need to replace that to? I know that i will need an adjustable proportioning valve...

Replace it.

The disc brake master has two different size reservoirs, large for the disc you installed up front, smaller for the drums.

Exactly, the drum brake one also has a check valve to keep a little pressure in the wheel cylinders at all times, as where the disc m/c has no valve. It will be like keeping your foot on the pedal.

I also believe you need to change your proportioning valve.

not that it was right but i kept to drum master on after the brake swap and never had a problem but if moneys not a thing change it. imo als i did change the port.valve.

I figured there was some difference, Ill go ahead and swap the m/c just to be safe. Thanks for the input and the advice!
