what's the difference in a car built before oct. 1973 and one after oct. vehicle in question 74' dart sport 360
 
For one, the door glass and hardware are different.....The whole door will interchange but not some of the guts. I think another is the bumper mounting. They started the bumper shocks right around that time. I'm sure there are other items that someone else will speak up about.
 
I think there was a change in law around that time having to do with safty or emissions but I'm not sure ???
 
I don't know but when I try to find something they want to know if it's pre oct. or after oct. and it doesn't have anything to do with mecanics I just can't find it anymore.
