Are all 5x4" bolt pattern wheels for 7/16" wheel studs? Were A-body 8-3/4's 1/2" or 7/16" with the 5x4 pattern? Was the year they went to 1/2" when they changed to the 8-1/4 in 1973?

1.) Yes all SBP are 7/16
2.) A body SBP matched wheel studs front to rear so yes 7/16 rear as well
3.) Also yes. 73 on many parts started to match the B bodies
Now let the comments on the oddities and rarities begin. Super Stock in 68 is one exception.

“Years ago, I had a…..”
lol!

All A-body 8 3/4's were small bolt pattern.

When the disk cars went BBP in '73 they went to 8.25's, and all 8.25's were BBP. So the SBP 73+ cars all had 7.25's. The 7.25's on the other hand were available in either SBP or BBP. The /6 cars that had the option of front disks were BBP, but typically had 7.25" rear ends, which were BBP.

I'm good on the years of SBP and BBP. I should have articulated what I needed better. Basically, I was wanting to know if SBP 8.75's had 7/16' or 1/2" studs. Not so much a bolt pattern size question but a stud question.
