Where did you get your 4-spd shifter boot?

One of the online stores has them for $60, but I have a hard time justifying $60 for a piece of rubber. Where did you get yours? I'll pay it if I have to but come on....:angry7:

The ones for the early A's are $100 and nothing else will work and look correct.

Most of the later boots are pretty much all the same, I think the last one I used on a Dart came from a truck, the height may have been a little different but the base is the same and looked good.

I got mine from a Moparts member thru the parts ads, cheap and it was new, never used. Place a Parts Wanted ad, ya never know.

I got mine from Mancini but it looks like he just drop ships from BEA. It was 50 bucks.

Hmmmmm, I like that 70's van idea, I want to hit a big junkyard next week anyway, so I will try that first.

If that fails I will do a wanted ad.

Thanks guys, I went to three different junkyards in the area and couldn't find a thing. The ones that had the older trucks/vans were either all automatics or someone else had cleaned all the 4-speed stuff off them. :angry7:

I'll try the wanted ads on here next!
