where is ballast resistor

i have a 73 duster and not sure where ballast resistor is, is it the one mounted on windshield wiper motor, or is it mounted on fire wall by voltage regulator? thanks

Should be on the firewall next to the voltage regulator....a white,bakelite rectangular block.
