I have been checking every place i can think of to buy 14" tires for my Duster!
My wheels are 8" wide and i would like to run a 10" wide tire, i figure the size to roughly be around 275 70 14 but no one carries them anywhere close to that except for Hoosier and they are out of my price range!

Anybody have any idea where i can find them?

did you try tirerack.com? they will ship to the place you want them installed or yourself and are typically cheaper than most places. obviously you have to add the mounting and balancing

I had the same problem trying to find Tires for my Duster. I ended up buying 15" Ralleys for the rear because 245/60/R14 is the biggest you can get. At least that is what I found. Also just got tired of looking!!

I used to buy my 14" tires at Sam's, but I haven't bought any in 4 years though. However, I don't remember them having anything in that exact size.

Yep no dice!

I have been tire shopping lately too. Believe it or not "Sears" was the cheapest by far. I was shopping for White letter, BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. They quoted me 82.99 each for 215/70/14. That price included mounting and balancing. You may want to check with them. Hope this helps. no one would come close to that quote.

I guess if you want 14" in a wide tire you have to go Bias ply. That would be O.K. if you are just Cruisin, but for any longer drives or Highway, I would rather not have them.

Adirondack Tire is where I got mine.

I'm running the T/A 245/60/14 on my barracuda they look great but suck in the wet -no traction at all ,if you find a better tire that is bigger or the same size let me know

Sometimes the "little" guy can have a better tire selection and better prices than the box chains. I worked for a small tire shop (two stores) who could meet or beat the box chains, didn't charge labor for mount, balance, and extra for valve stems (important to know when you shop for tires: a lot of places have the hidden charges in valve stems and weights) and had a data base where we could order in just about any tire you wanted.

Check around and don't be hung up thinking the bigger guys will give you the best price and service. Check the yellow pages for the small guy who deals in tires as a primary, not a secondary business, (usually listed under tires) and see what they have to say. The size you're looking for may not be available, but you'd be surprised in what they might have to offer.

a 10" wide 14" tire? good luck. they sell a very small variety of 14" tires now. not a huge selection of 15" any more really. you best bet is to change over to a 15" rim.

I too will be wanting to get some BF Goodrich 245 60R 14's. They are available but in a 70 series tire I have not found any. I have 225 60r 14's all the way around at the moment. Does not look to bad.

Been doing ALOT of checking around town and the internet and it looks like 245 60 14 is gonna be the biggest i can get without going to a polyglas tire.
Thanks for the help and input guys!

At least i managed to get the fronts mounted so far until i get rear tires.
Bought these wheels off a FABO member a couple months ago.

I run Firestones on all my Darts. We got them at local tire dealer.
