Where is the best place to get an accelerator cable for my 66 Dart?

I have a 66 Valiant 340 4-speed, I used a throttle cable from a 1973 Duster I parted out. It was a 318 2 barrel car and it fits great, even with an Mopar Performance M-1 intake and 1 inch carb spacer! I would think any a-body V-8 car 64-76 would work. :thumleft:

Being it is a /6 still shouldn't it have a rod instead of a cable, or are you looking for when you upgrade to the V8.

Lokar makes a nice aftermarket universal cable. You'll probably have to change the bracket but they have that available also.

I am in the middle of a upgrading to a V8. I have the original style brackets and pedal. But the local parts store doesn't list anything for 66. I was thinking about trying the later a body one.

That I found a new cable from . He has standard length and extended for hi rise rise intakes. Also there are a few other sources but their cable is reall long like 22"s.

Didi you tell him it was a /6 car or a V8 car.. They had the cable on the V8 ones back then, I got mine from a 65 Dart if I remember right.
