Lately its been reported that there is an increase in new members who are scamming. Within the last couple weeks its seems I've dealt with a few but no horror stories yet. Or maybe I'm dealing with people that geniunely want to post parts or cars for sale but are to incosiderate to answer your replies. Case in point, I generally send my messages with a read receipt so I know you read it. All it takes is a basic reply such as, "SOLD", "don't have it", "your 3rd in line", "Let me check", "I'm swamped", "I'll get back to you in a couple days"..etc... That's all that is needed. I realize its the holidays but it only takes a a few seconds to send a reply like I mentioned, especially if you took the time to sign in and read it. The best is when they say , "I'll get pics to you Friday" and nothing shows up and I message them back and never hear from them again. Or, I'll buy it and never reply back . I've had plenty a really great transactions here without a glitch but lately its been difficult. Most of these encounters are with members with under 20 posts. Sorry for the rant, but this is getting old.

Bunch of times people think they are the only ones that count. When someone offers you a car or part for a price then you come back with-if that's shipped or ill give you x dollars you have said NO to his price. Its up to the seller to renegotiate if he chooses. This is not wal mart where there is an endless supply of original parts.I watched a guy at a swap meet, three different guys had A body pedal sets, one was quite a bit cheaper than the other two and the guy just couldn't understand why the two were so "GREEDY"!!He bought the cheaper set and was happy for a while until he found that he bought a /6 set-caveat emptor.Dont expect everyone to chase your dollars-someone else may have put theirs on the table
