Sorry for the dumb questions, seems my memory has gotten soft and I no longer remember the specifics. I am putting late B/MJ spindles on my Duster, along with the cop car rotors and calipers. I have also switched to C body tie rods and sleeves. The problem...the balljoints I purchased years ago, when I assembled this mash up of parts, are Moog K781 and K783. I have a note in the box that these were for A 73-76, E 70-74, and B 62-72! Of course one of my balljoints has been stored somewhere VERY safe! hahaha To further muddy up already muddy waters....My intended steering box is the cop box out of an 87 dippy! Any advise our knowledgeable men that can correct me, and help me get this mash upto work? Thank you, Dan:violent1:

Ummmm...what car are you wanting to put all that on? That is a kinda important piece of the puzzle.

Assuming it's a '71 Duster, The main thing that stands out as not fitting will be the '71 pitman arm on the '87 Dippy box. You may have to get the '73-6 A-body steering linkage or a different steering gear that has the small pitman shaft.

Sweet after much mining of the Mopar Muscle Tech Archive...I finally found the article...it was back around page 11 or 12. With FMJ spindles, they recommend using the Moog lower balljoint numbers K781, and K783, and then using the shorter bolts off of the 73-76 a spindles to mount them. Now for the steering gear...I will try the late A pitman and idler arms also! That is all gonna be a crapshoot anyways...I upgraded to C body tie rods and custom made adjusters to match. The plan is coming together. I have blasted and painted all of my suspension components that I intend to reuse. I just have to find that well hidden left lower balljoint. Buy shocks and Torsion bars. Then I need to move on to the brakes. Clean the caliper brackets and buy my cop rotors and reman calipers. Woo Hoo!

Yes I have tubular big ball joint upper arms. However since it has been mentioned I do need the later centerlink if any of you have one!!!!

I have a center link if you can't find one closer.
Thanks, Mark
