Which way should the timing tape face?

Should you beable to read the numbers from standing infront of the grill(numbers facing you) or away from you? This ia a TCI Rattler balancer made for a 440, but running on a slant 6.This is a drag car also. I have heard both ways.....I would THINK they would be right side up whan standing infront of the grill.

let your engine rotation be your guide, LOL

your motor rotates clockwise looking at it from the front so the numbers have to read left to right like normal.
