who aswell has a stearing wheel out of round

i was going to repair my stearing wheel but then i was siting at a red light and relized that its out of round is this a common problem or is it just mine

I've seen it on old wheels. They are alot thinner than most modern steering wheels and much larger in diameter. This means more leverage when someone uses the steering wheel to pull himself into the car, or gets angry and shakes or pulls on the wheel, they will bend or "flatten".
