listen. maybe i am ragging. but i see it every day on here, and lately, it has just been eating me up.

there are rules on this site, and i see every day they are crossed, and totally ignored. with such vulgar disregard.

someone posts a tach for sale. so, without warning, other members jump in this mans thread, and call him out, that you can buy a another one for 199.00. he is selling his for like 275.00.

FIRST OF ALL, the ones for 199.00 are repops. his is a real authentic one.
the rules clearly state that no matter how much you disagree with the price, DO NOT RESPOND NEGITIVE in someone elses sale ad!

come on people, it is not even my ad, and i am offended by it. and the worst part is, is happens every time i go through the classifieds!

I KNOW THAT THE MODS DO A GREAT JOB OF KEEPING THIS SITE CLEAN, and try not to be harsh, or hard on guys/ladies, but this is horrible.

i am on here alot, and i sometimes get cought up in it too!. i am no angel.
but, you will not find me disrespecting someones sale ad.
i do not care if they ask 1,000.00 dollars for a ash tray. that is there business, i just move on to the next potentiasl item i may need.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD THINK HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED, AND RESPECTED, BEFORE YOU GO AND BASH SOMEONE ELSES THREAD.

Just hit the report button on the offending post and let the mod's point system handle it. I agree people should shut their yappers unless they have a legitimate question about the item for sale.
 
I'm not defending or backing your point of view but just wanted to point this out. Using the example of the tach for 275, whats to say that person didn't know about the repops? Or let us say that instead of just that one tach for sell 4 other people are selling original ones for 100 to 150 and someone points that out to that person. This way the person can take into account for the current market value for them. Its all about supply and demand and then adjusting for that. Again maybe that person just didnt know the current market for them and someone was just pointing it out. Be I can see you point though (I would've PM'd him myself though).
 
As far as Im concerned its up to the Buyer to do some research when buying parts. DO your own homework on parts and prices. Its the sellers business as to pricing.
 
Joe, you are right and hit the notify mod button to report it if it bothers you.

People price where they want, buyers offer what they want to pay, seller either accepts, declines or counters.

Is that part worth the money, no way IMHO. The for sale thread is the wrong place to state as much. You can find them elsewhere for much less with a little searching. Heck you can buy entire panels with one in it for that price. I won't even go into what I really think or would like to say.
 
Not to mention if you can go buy one cheaper off FEEBAY go for it. Go buy that one and leave the seller alone to sell his. Being high priced isnt misrepresentation.
 
Yup, don't stew about the problem or get your crap in a note, just hit the report button and state your case. If we agree that there is off handed comments being posted then we'll delete them with great predjudice and contact the poster and tell him to move on.
 
If you don't like the price then don't buy it, end of story.
