Now that Chrysler has effectively shut down Laysons, where the heck can I get front and rear floor pans for my 66 Valiant.

I was going to buy these a few months ago but got sidetracked by a motorcycle accident and then two months later my son had a bike accident so my car was pushed to the back shelf.

Anyone have any clues who would be brave enough to sell these now?

Thanks for the info. Kramer told me they had the fronts but not the rear. I will check again with autobodyspecialt. They didnt have them before but I cant remember the reason for not having them.

I am kicking myself for not getting them when I had an assurance they would be shipped. (Dooohhhhh!!)

At least I was smart enough to get the tail light lenses. When I got them my wife said, "Why are you getting them now, you havent started the car?"
I explained to her they may not be available at a later date. I was RIGHT!
Yes I called her as soon as I heard about Laysons.

The funny thing is, I checked in here to see if I could fnd the person who worked for Laysons that told me they would make sure I got my shipment and that is how I found out all hell was breaking loose.

They don't actually make pans for the rear of the 63-66, as far as I've been able to find out. I bought a set from Rick (Laysons) and I actually got pans marked for a 67-7?...both front and rear...with an explaination that that would have to be trimmed to fit....at Carlisle Kramer had a front pan actually marked (and looking proper) for the 3-6 and told me that the rear pans aren't being popped at the present time. Goodmark has been promising these for a few years now...I haven't installed mine yet but have test fitted and the 67-up pans will work with some mod's, but doesn't look difficult....I can get some pictures this weekend of the pan and the test fit if you'd like....

That would be great! I have heard that the 67 up pans will work but I didnt know how much mod would be required.

I could drive my car to Year One and compare them but it would be about a 160 mile round trip. I could buy the rear pans from Year One if they work.

Let me know if you think they would work.
