This was on a car at the local junkyard and I was just wondering if anyone knows why the blades were cut the way they are. No factory markings, in fact no markings of any kind to indicate manufacturer. Wierdest fan I've ever seen.

Doesn't look like a factory piece the way the bolt holes are slotted for multiple applications. No clue as to the shape of the blades. Maybe meant for a truck or tractor?
Most likely the shape of the blade was to reduce noise
Look like a old aftermarket fan for a add on AC unit for a small engine
AC maybe for a small 6cylinder
