Hello folks! I have a 75 Duster 360. I am looking for a small but important part of the wiper mechanism - under the dash. Attached to the wiper motor is a small bracket which attaches to a metal lever arm about 20 inches long. At each end of this 20 inch arm is a hole which holds a plastic gromment which accepts the tit from the bracket on the wiper motor on one end and the remaining wiper arm assembly on the other end. It is these plastic grommets (probably not the right word) that I am looking for and have no idea where to find them. The number on one of them is 32188 - 103. Any help is greatly appreciated even though I don't drive in the rain, in Florida, you never can tell! Thanks, drmmrboy.

If you are refering to the plastic windshield wiper bushings you should be able to find them at your local part store, NAPA, Cragen, Carquest and so on, even the dealer has them. They are not that expensive and I'm sure anyone that has owned an A body had to replace them at one time or another. Good luck.

yep. local parts place, they usually come in a 2 pack. i think chrysler used the same bushing for many years.

I second that thought, real PITA to install, I think they come in packs of 2 so you can wreck the first one to figure out how to install them properly. Look in the "HELP" line of parts at your local parts store, you should find them there.SleeperScamp said:

I just did this on mine. I did the one on the arm to the driver side wiper arm and it was easy as pie, once i figured out what i was doing wrong. Don't think I didn't say some choice words figuring out how to get it back together without cutting my self to death.
I pulled the gauge cluster out, and I just happen to have the steering wheel off. Anyway with the rod that ties the two completly out of the car I used a pair of pliers to "snap" the bushings into the arm. Then I put a small dab of grease in the plastic bushing. I then threaded the arm back through the hole where the wiper motor goes and I attached the end to the wiper first. BTW this is a good time to replace those seals that are common to leak. I again used the pliers to squeeze the bushing down on the pin. I then attached the other end through the hole where the wiper motor goes. Then I reattached the wiper motor again using the pliers to make sure the bushing seated all the way on the pin. Getting the motor reattached was sort of tricky b/c there's not much room to fit the pliers in and hold the motor in place.

Redline, you pretty much covered it, good advise on the wiper seals. I forgot about the gymnastics you have to perform to get it done,LOL!
