Will 452 heads fit on a 383?

yes they will but the 452 has a bigger chamber so it will kill a little bit of compression ....even still i would run it ....452s are good heads .....like you said hardened valve seats ...pump gas friendly
 
The chambers are basically all the same. The seats dont matter either. A slightly built motor in a light car wont burn them up anyway. Unless you plan on towing a trailer for thousands of miles with a truck cam in it.
