will a 66 dart hood bolt onto a 65?

It will bolt on but won't close...the 66 hood is wider then the 65...I have a 65 hood on my 66...it bolted right on but doesn't latch..or fit fender to fender..I'll take a picture of it tonight and post it for you...I'd offer to trade you hoods if you have a 66, only hangup is that I'm in PA...

i just looked closer at both and only the 65 has "eyebrows" at the ends.
