Will these Billet Specialties street Lite rims fit on the rear of my 67 Dodge Dart? I’m changing the small bolt pattern to 5x4.5. The backspacing is 5.50. I will be cutting out the wheel well to make it like a Hemi dart.

Move your springs in first..... maybe???
Nice wheel by the way.

Not without a 3” spring relocation and a mini-tub. And with a 5.5” backspace you’ll need a narrowed rear axle too.

So what’s the right backspace I need?

For a 15x10 with a 3” spring relocation and mini tub? With a stock width A-body 8 3/4 with BBP axles?

It’ll depend on the tires you want to run, but the backspace would need to be close to 7.5” with a stock width rear axle.

Without the 3” spring relocation and mini-tub on a Dart there’s no reason to go to 15x10’s at all. Stock spring locations on a Dart mean a 255 is about as wide as you can go, and those fit fine on a 15x8.

That’s exactly the combo I’m running with these wheels. Narrowed a B Body diff by about 3” per side to make it all fit.

Will they work with a body rear that’s not cut? Are they the same length?
Guards haven’t been cut but my car has been mini tubbed and the springs relocated into the frame rails. (As 72bluNblu previously suggested would be required)
Once the mods were done the B Body Diff was narrowed to place the wheels centrally within the tubs. Tyres are 12.5’s with enough clearance to still go wider - up to about 325mm would be possible with the way the tubs have been done.
