I don't know for sure, but I'd guess big.... no. Not enough backspace, too much width. Proper sized tire for the width will be way too close to the fender.
I'd look for a 15x6 or 15x7, with at least 4" backspace.
And I'd probably try a 235-60x15 with a seven, or a 225 with a six.

Agreed, these would hit the fenders unless you flare them for more clearance.

unless there's a whole bunch more room on a 66 vs a 65 and you're high enough in the rear to fully clear the wheel well lip, no.

i'm running 15x7 w/ 4.25 and it's *tight* (i am, however very low).

stock mopar rims in 7" generally came with 4.25 so you'd need more to bump 8

Also you need to check the bolt pattern on your rear to see whether you need 4" or 4 1/2"

The best fitting wheel tire combo I ever had on my 66 Dart, where 255 60 15 mounted on a set of Weld wheels with 4.50 inches of backspacing. They put the tire perfectly centered in the wheel well between the leaf springs and out side wheel well. That was with the a stock leaf spring location and stock A body 8 3/4 rear axle with A body 10 inch drum brakes. Tires never rubbed no matter how much weight was in the car or how fast I went around corners. Here is a pic of the Dart the wheels and tires at the time.
