Window Rattle

I replaced the window felt in my 1965 Dart GT. When I close the door the rear edge of the glass hits against the guide channel. The channel is much wider than the glass. Is something that goes in the channel that fills in the gap so that the glass doesn't hit against the inside of the channel when you close the door? If so what do I use or where do I get stuff to fix problem?

Yes, there should be some channel felt inside the door to keep the glass from rattling. Check with your local auto glass shop to see if they have some or I'm sure there are places online that carries it.
