I was going to replace the rollers in my window tracks today and I started to look at new ones and thought how in the world do they stay in? Anyone ever replace these before?

That style has to be peened in like the factory ones (that you will have to grind off to get out)

Im not sure how they attach. I believe originally were riveted.
Trailbeast has a good write-up on a mod he did.
@TrailBeast

Thanks Steve, but the way I did mine is probably a bit more than most people want to do, or are capable of.

But just for kicks I'll tell you. :D
I replaced all the rollers in my drivers door with thick nylon discs and used fine thread bolts and nyloc nuts for mounting and length adjustments.
It made it so I can adjust any angle of the glass in any direction.

One other thing I did was to crimp the tracks on one side so the glass stopped before it got below the whiskers.
That helped a ton with how solid the door feels when closed.

That was definitely a experience just replaced ones body shop broke but wasn't to hard. New shafts where little long ground some off and worked good
