I was wondering what anyone has paid for a front windshield for a 70's duster.
I removed mine without braking it :) (we'll see how long it stays that way sitting in the workbench) but the factory tint stripe is cloudy and it has some scratches so was thinkning about replacing but at $325 (some place on the i net).....maybe I'll go with a new gasket and old window

You might try your local glass place, I had a Chevelle windshield installed a couple of years ago brand new for $275 and they fixed a couple of rust holes.

I've since converted back to Mopars and feell much better :)

You do not always get a good deal on windshields as far as new ones go. I have seen new windshields that were much thinner (in my opinion weaker) than OEM. BE VERY VERY CHOOSY about the glass you put in. I would want to see it before installed to compare with what you took out. Sometimes a little more cash for a GOOD windshield is worth more than replacing a crappy one twice because the replacement is garbage.
