[WANTED] Windshield reveal clips

You can buy these new, but you probably already know that. I have a bunch of used ones — I could put some in the mail for you. Do you need any of the screws?

I’ve tried buying them new. DMT is the only place I have found that purportedly sells them (and when I ordered them, I didnt get them). Do you have someone else to check? I checked Year One, Classic, and Dantes.

If you have them top spare, I'd take like 10 so that if I break one or two when cleaning and prepping them for use, I wont be short. I have the screws.

But I do have a bunch in a jar I took off a 68 Barracuda and kept for years, but then I wound up buying new ones when I got around to replacing the trim. PM your address and I will drop 10 in the mail for you.

New are common as dirt and as cheap even on FeeBay. Just buy the right ones!

He tried twice now to buy correct ones from DMT. They messed up both times.

Those arent the right ones. That's the problem I am having. The ones I need look like the ones in the picture above.

DMT contacted me back and said they sent the wrong kit. They are sending the right one. Should that fail, I will need to go a different route.

Are you sure about that? Because the original clips came in two sizes, but they are really interchangeable. The factory used mostly the smaller ones and had wider ones at certain positions, but there doesn't seem to be any compelling logic to this pattern — they both grip the trim in the same way, and people have installed the trim with all wide clips and with all small clips, and it seems to work the same. I forget who I ordered mine from, but I have all the trim installed, so they did work.

I can tell you I have a set of clips that size, and they didnt fit. Nor do they match what came off the car. They were too tall.

They only messed up once. The first set I received were what I ordered, they just arent right. The second set was shipped incorrectly.

Ah... I looked up my order. I got the clips from R/T Specialties, which really should be the first place to go for items like this. They know these parts.

I have these from Year One - RX47. 1966-74 A B E-Body Front Rear Window Reveal Molding Clip...
They don't have a pic on their site so I don't know if the quantity is correct. Top row is different with oval holes. Bottom rows has round holes, like yours. Need measurements somewhere on them?

Wrong year? FWIW, I seem to recall noticing that '71 Duster trim is different (narrower) than '73+ Dart Sport/Duster trim.
