Before I bought my 70 Swinger, I never knew that these cars could come with a foot pump activated squirter, is there a way to tell what it came with from the factory, foot pump or electric? Was it year or model specific for the foot pump? It seems pretty old school tech for a car made in 1970. I dont have a broadcast sheet for my car, so I have no idea of options, no fender tag either :( and my washer reservoir was removed to make room for an MSD box. Ya I know, the previous owner could have found a spot for the MSD elsewhere , and kept the broadcast sheet, and not lost the fender tag.....

If you have a 3 speed wiper setup then the washer tank is electric. If you have a 2 speed wiper setup then it was a footpump.

Thanks, Ive never actually used the wipers so Ill have to check the speed. :)
Was there an option for either two or three speed offered?

Is that 70 specific?

My 67 has 2 speed and factory electric squirter

Look for a brown wire coming out of the wiring harness.

Also IIRC the foot pump has a fairly large grommet in the firewall for the hoses and there would be holes on the floor where it would be mounted.

My 74' only had a foot pump, I converted it to electric. I just use the foot pump as a backup.
Very easy to do.
The electric washer pump I used came off an early 80's Dodge ram.

My switch is definitely a two speed switch and seems to have some play when pushing it in as if for the squirt function, there is not a large grommet in the firewall, and dang, I forgot to look for the brown wire
