hello
I'm curious if there is a difference been a 67 windshield hard top or a 68 windshield? I"m also curious if you could take a 68 gasket and the chrome and put it on a 67 due to the factor they dont make the gasket or chrome and stuff for a 67.

2 door glass is approx 2 inches shorter than 4 door glass. All 2 door A-body glasses are the same excluding Duster/Dart Sportfrom 67 ->76. The stainless trim from a 4 door will work by removing 2 inches from the a-pillar pieces.

Thanks thats great to hear abour the windshields, but due to the Factor a 67 has inserts of plastic chrome and 68 doesn't, it has clips, could you put the clips on a 67 from a 68 and all gasket?

That project is scheduled for my Memorial Day weekend. You'll need the correct gaskets and you'll need to install all the clips. The hardest part of upgrading a 67 is the finding the stainless for the rear glass.

Steven's Performance has the correct 67 trim and corners. Pricey but looks good. I thik I paid close to $200.00 for the trim and like $90.00 for the corners.

the upgrade will cost atleast twice that.
If there is no leak or rust in the channels 67 OEM is the best route. If other repairs are needed I'd say start hunting those upgrade components.

The stainless for the rear window does it clip on? Because Goes were the White Vinyl is still on the car? Is that the right chrome? And redfish, if you send me some pic of how your doing the swap would be awesome!!!

Yeah all the stainless is held on with clips , front and rear. Heres a word of caution.. dont buy an incomplete group of window trim.
Find me just the 2 pieces of stainless for the bottom of rear glass on a 68/69 notchback barracuda and I'll trade you ALL the trim for your front and rear windows off a 73 model Valiant and provide you with a factory layout of where the clips are placed too. Read between the lines and you'll see,
I have the 2 'L' shaped pieces for the rear glass and can't find the other 2.
