Winnipeg Voluntary Vehicle Inspection

Thought I would let you Winnipeg guys know I took the 65 Valiant thru the inspection yesterday.

I thought they might bring up a few things, but the only item they noted me for was my windshield washer pump not pumping fluid (ground line went bad in the last week or so)

and they suggested that a couple of my seat bolt's " should " have larger (wider) washers.

So I fixed the ground and I don't have to worry about getting inspected during any street blitz, because I have a paper that says everything else is legal. It's a good feeling knowing i shouldn't get any tickets for any Vehicle items, unless something changes..


Both police and insurance inspectors at the 7 hour event.. I was only the 12th hot rod that showed up by 5 p.m. Great discussion with them, they liked my car and 15 minutes later I was on the road.

That sure went better then when I got pulled into an inspection with my old 4x4 with 8 inch lift and 38 inch tall tires. The Asian officer's head was maybe up to the door handle :-D

Sounds good Ken, I may have to go to the next one. Just better remember to put some fluid in my windshied washer bottle first.
