Wiper Position

Can anyone tell me the position of the arm on the wiper motor when the wipers are in the down position?

Can't really remember, but I don't think it would matter unless you have ripped things apart and replaced wrong, like crossing the arms getting a total bind. Also, if your arms under the dash were out of alingment your wiper blades would'nt match on the windshield. The motor shaft itself just drives the arms to the pivets and wouldn't care where the driving shaft is as long as there not binding. You could look up under the dash to ensure no firewall insulation fell back and jammed the arms??
