Going from non-rallye to rallye instrumentation: as far as the wiring goes- those who have installed the DD instrument cluster did you cut off the original non-rallye wiring harness connectors (for example the turn signal indicators or the fuel level) and then run the wires to the control box or did you solder a wire to the existing OE wire and run that to the control box?

I’m rinning the Dakota Digital system in my 65 Dart wagon. My underdash wiring is a combination of modified stock wiring and 80 M Body wiring as I’m using an 80 M Body tilt column (I have the wiring diagrams for the 80). For the turn signal indicators and high beam indicator I piggy-backed off the M Body harness although I suppose I could have done it off my modified OE harness. My DD manual said run a ground wire from the gas sending unit to the control box along with the original sending unit wire. If you want to chat about this stuff, I can PM you my number or vice versa
