witch vacum port

Just got a new e-brock 650 avs thunder carb. I was just wondering witch
port to hook up my vacum advance to. One has vacum at idel the other
one dose not. Thaks for the help.

'Ported vacuum'. It will be the highest of the two vacuum ports on the front of the carb. It will be the one that does not have vacuum at idle, just when you start to crack the blades it will show vacuum.

Ummmm, that would be the right one as looking at the froint of the carb right Goody?

Left, highest port will be ported vacuum since the throttle plates need to open that far to show it vac.

Ahhhh, there ya go. You know, the reason I drew a blank and made a mention is that I just came in from the garage earlier and some of the OE carbs have only two ports up front. The other being PCV. When you look at it, it's to the right. And thats where the distrib. hooks up.
