Worlds fastest car Miramichi Canada

This weekend is the worlds fastest street car shoot out held in Miramichi New Brunswick Canada, anybody going? There are cars coming from Alaska, Austraila, England just to name a few. One of our locals holds the Canadian record in a 68 camaro 7.02 @ 199 mph.
 
Where is this track located in New Brunswick? Do they run every weekend, and do they have a website?

I have a camp in northern Maine, halfway between Caribou, and Fort Kent. I guess that would be the Clair, Edmunston area for you. I'll be going to camp Aug 15-17 for the Muskie derby. I also spend 3 weeks in May up there, and it would be a nice change of pace to go to the track sometime while I'm there.

How did the trip to Winterport go? Tim

Miramichi City is north of Fredericton and used to be called Chatam. They combined New Castle and Chatam together to make Miramichi City. I know the Caribou area very well, grew up 5 minutes from Limestone on the Canadian side. So if you were leaving from your camp goint to the Miramichi you would head for Plaster Rock then take the Renous highway and when you get to the end of that you are probably 25 minutes from Miramichi.

They race every 2nd weekend usually. Its a nice track. I'm not sure if they have a website but if you log on to www.maritimedragracing.com they will give you all the near by tracks and info.

Winterport was good. I spent a few hours there on Sunday. It was my first time to a 1/8 mile track. There were some nice and fast cars there.
