I'm setting up this poll for Hauk about raffling off his Demon to Fabo members.
 
The car is listed in the classified section..
 
My chances look good with only 14 positive votes! I would buy 2 by the way, i voted wrong!
 
I think the plan would be to offer to all FABO members regardless of location...
 
Raffles are regulated by gaming laws, have you looked into that?
 
Might be tough to do internationally too. Ie; if the car was in the US and Im Canadian can I buy a ticket and win/claim my prize?

We used to do 50/50 draws etc at the car shows or a raffle.Never had a problem.
 
yes, we can do a free delivery to the door..And Canada should not be a pronlem, I have title in my name and would ship the correct paper work to the boarder..Lets do this if the Mods are willing to ok it and we will do $30 tickets and 2 for $50. We will set up the raffle when we can agree where to do this, and any question just ask. The demon again is listed in the classified section, any questions again just ask.I will keep everyone updated on how many chances are sold and my paypal infor is [email protected] and if you want to mail in a payment my address is 11 hickory rd, Collegeville, Pa 19426..Richard Hauk...once payment clears your on the list..
 
If this will fly I am in for 2 tickets maybe even 4. I cannot see why this cannot be done here just for FABO members only, and that would mean ONLY FABO members!! not guests who lurk out here. What's the difference if this car was sold to someone as opposed to being offered in a ticketed only giveaway? I do not see any harm in this idea at all. What an awesome way for someone who maybe cannot afford to buy an older A body Mopar to get a chance to actually own one??? That sounds like a win/win to me. As for the "legal" ramifications, why should there be all kinds of legal issues if this guy wants to offer up his car to everyone out here? i do not see anyone getting hurt by this. If you do not like the idea, then do not buy a ticket, simple as that.
 
Screw gamein' laws, this is among friends for non-profit... If you're serious about delivery, I might be intrested... I'd want a 3 party to draw the winning ticket...
 
Is there a minimum amount that you are going to accept for the car? I am asking because if you don't sell enough tickets and want to send the payments back the pay pal fee's would add up really fast......
 
I've always wanted a Demon =P~.

Loved those taillights since I was a kid. OK, a teenager, but that's still a kid to me :-D.

Man oh man, the wife would kill me.

This is a good point hauk may not make any money.In fact he may loose some.

Will you follow through no matter what?
 
I would sell it... I am still unsure on what to do..Seems like everyone would be in for this and I think the ticket sales would not be a problem, and yes I would follow through 100%.. I will leave it up to the Mods, if they say ok I will cancel my ebag auction again..Let me know ..
 
All it takes is for one sore loser to turn you in, is it worth going to jail over?
