Hmm.. Trying to get the fish cranked up after 4 yrs. Got the motor in with the tranny and crappy old ansen scattershield, but it's finally in right!? Can't get it to fire, but finally get it timed right. Suddenly the starter is free wheeling! What? The FREAKIN RING GEAR HAS SPUN ON THE FLYWHEEL!!!!!! Ever wanted to burn something to the ground? Should I be afraid of gettign another used flywheel? I really can't afford a new one, but... I guess I start selling the few intakes I have and whatever else. I am BUMMED!!!!!

I worked in a welding shop when I was a kid and seen them welded on. Best out on a table, fixed. 8) I know, still requires pulling trans.

It can be welded. Try and find a shop that has a Tig welder.

Ya it would need rebalacing for sure.
